What are you doing this summer?

We are very excited to be hosting this precious little guy from Asia for 5 weeks this summer! This will be our first experience hosting. The goal of these programs is to expose children to family life, while hopefully identifying a forever family for them. We are really looking forward to welcoming this precious one to our family, even if only temporarily. Please pray for us and pray that God will send the perfect family to make him their son!

Madeline is home! Oh, and I'm a horrible blogger!

This update is long overdue! Maddie arrived home on March 2nd and settled in like she has always been here! She is just so sweet, sassy, and funny. I have (obviously)struggled to keep up with blogging, mainly because of being busy, Facebook being a much quicker way to stay connected, and because I don't find the iPad very blogger friendly. I'm going to try to do better than 8 months between posts! My next one will be about some exciting news.....

Matching grant: MET!

Wow! Wow! Wow! God always provides for our adoptions! Every time He amazes me with who He uses, and how He does it! Every single time there are so many instances where we can clearly see His handiwork in the details! We are thrilled to share that our $5,000 matching grant with Lifesong has been met! Thank you to everyone who has donated. We are humbled and truly grateful!

Incredibly Exciting News!!!

We got fabulous news this week! Our dossier is complete and on it's way to Maddie's country! Finally! Now we wait to hear we have been submitted and have her referral.

God also provided in a HUGE way! Bethany and Lifesong have given us a $5,000 grant! That means they will match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000. If we meet our goal, we will have $10,000 towards Maddie's adoption! We can't even express what a blessing this is to us. If you feel led to donate, please send checks made out to Lifesong with "Boroughs/#2965" adoption in the memo line, and mail to:
